1 Year Anniversary

Its been one year since i left Penang to further my studies. Wow how fast time flies. It was just like few months ago reluctantly left Penang and now its already one year.

I still remember one year ago how sad i was to leave my family and left for college. Well the first few weeks were terrible there though i enjoyed my orientation programmes. After all it was my first time leaving my family behind for studies. I cant exactly remember how many nites i actually cried myself to sleep because of missing my home. Ohh it sounds so childish now to think that i cried. Hehehehe.

I only started to enjoy my college life when the regular classes begun. Thats when i found a bunch of people who are meant to stay with me for the entire time study in the college. Well it was a big class, there were only 8 of us. I guess its just a nice number to create havoc together. Hehehehe.

It was then that i realise how much fun i can actually have in the college although the college is situated in an isolated place. Well there many unforgetable things i did there with my friends. Thats where D'Suakus were created.

Though it cant beat my secondary school life but still i guess my college life will turn out to be far more interesting than i have expected. And for this i must thank D'Suakus. Hehehe. Without my friends with me i wont be enjoying my life there.

Now i m worried coz time passes very fast and in another 1 and 1/2 years we-my friends and i- need to choose different pathways. Well although we go in different ways i still have hope that we can keep in touch. After all there's so many ways to keep in touh in this developed world. Hehehe.

Anyway before i get too sentimental, i will finish my entry. Hehehe. So i would like to take this chance to thank all my friends (Michelle, May Eng, Yukiko, Yin Shiang, Siti and Yvonne) for tolerating their college life with a miserable friend (of coure its me). So i wish we D'Suakus will have more fun together in the coming semesters. Hehehehe.

Lastly i hope we will forever stay happy like how we are in this photo. I dedicate this post to my friends, Michelle (Dand Dang), May Eng, Yvonne (Von Von), Siti (Ms. International), Yin Shiang (Shiangeh) and Yukiko (Miss DMLT). Thanks a lot for making Nilai a better place for me to study. Hehehe.

Telectroscope Connects New York & London

The Telectroscope was built by artist/inventor Paul St. George and connects New York and London via a massive tunnel you can look through and see out the other end.

"The Telectroscope started off as a totally unintentional hoax in the 1870s," explains St George, who is the leading expert on this forgotten backwater of Victorian technology. "It came about through an error. A French editor misread a report about the invention of a thing called the Electroscope - which is all to do with static electricity - and called it a Telectroscope. He also misinterpreted its purpose. "The fascinating thing is that his misunderstanding of what it did - to communicate face to face over a vast distance - really caught fire.

Needless to say there is no such massive tunnel. The end portals were just made to look like they're heading through the earth. In actuality, they're connected via "fiber optic cabling, and an HD camera and projector on either end provide live streaming video. But who really cares, you can still look in one end of this device in New York and see out the other in London. You'll find one end next to the Brooklyn Bridge, and the other across the pond, next to Tower Bridge."

Merdeka!!!

Ya ya i know, i know. Merdeka is one month ahead. The Merdeka i meant here is for myself as my finals r over now. Hehehe. Although its over, now i m quite worried bout my results, especially for the last paper. Well it wasnt tough actually, its just that i didnt revise properly.

Anyway who cares bout it now. I have 2 weeks to enjoy in Penang before getting my results. So why worry, not that now i can change what i did. Hehehe. Very happy that i m back in Penang. So now all i have to do is to plan what i m gonna do during my holiday.

Well guess nothing much can be done, coz most of my frens not on leave. So probally i will be online 24 hours or maybe i will be reading some novels or maybe shopping with my mum. Hehehe. Anyway if anything interesting happened during my sem break i will definitely update it in my blog. Hehehe. Hopefully something interesting will take place. Very bored with current life. Anyway that all for now. Wait till i update bout my sem break!!! Bye....

Kaadhaldesam Gathering

Writting bout an event after one month of its occurrence is very bad, i know...but i cant help it and i also cant stop myself from writting bout it. I was extremely busy all this while. Hehehehe. So coming to the point. The event i m speaking sorry typing about is PJ Kaadhaldesam Gathering.

So let me intro a bit bout Kaadhaldesam. Kaadhaldesam is actually a webpage, i m not talking bout the movie here. Hehehe. Well is an online forum. For me its a place for everything such as info sharing, chit-chatting, bullying or getting bullied, gossiping and etc. By the way before i forget, the owner of the website is known as Dato PJ (not real Dato k!! its juz a 'gelaran' we gave him) or Prakash (Bro). Well for the history of the site and other things i will suggest that u join the forum and get to know it urself.

So back to the point: gathering. All the active members there were eager to meet each other (including myself la), although some of the members already met without my knowledge n without inviting me. Hehehe. So PJ bro came up with an idea. He wanted to gather all of us in Midvalley, celebrate suprise birthday for Mr. K (designer thalle and hot news updater of Kaadhaldesam) and Jessy Anni (PJ bro's wife), then have lunch with own expenses =D and watch movie (Dasavatharam). So we all agreed except for few members who cant make it due to work (Mahesan), tuition class (Vetha sis) and venue (Neha sis, Rathi sis and Saranya). So everything was planned and we were all eager to meet each other. Oh ya i forgot to mention the date n time. Hahahaha. It was on 21st June 2008 (Saturday), 11am - 6pm.

So on the day. I went there with two of my frens, Michelle and Shazana. I arrive in Midvalley around 11.30am. Earlier we planned to meet at the food court. So when i arrived i was kinda blur. Then i noticed Mr. K and Karthik. So i asked them where r the others n they told me to go to the food court. There i met Shaliney, Shaline, Durga in one corner and in another corner Deva, Raaja and Rulez bro. So we all were waiting for PJ bro. Mentang-mentang nama dia Dato dia datang lambat (Malaysian time la). So PJ bro came with Anni and his fren Murali and Murali's cousin brothers. Then Deva and Rulez bro when down to collect the cake for the suprise birthday while we were waiting for Shobby sis. Then PJ bro went to collect the movie ticket.

So then we wanted Anni and Mr.K to cut their cakes. Anni was there with us but Mr. K and Karthik dunno where they went. Hehehehe. So Anni cut her cake first and we had our lunch. Thats when Mr. K and Karthik came. So they also had lunch n then we head for the theatre to watch the movie. After enjoying the movie we head back to the food court, where Mr. K cut his cake and the presents were given including a small souvenir for all (a key chain with Kaadhaldesam name on it). Then we all starting chit chatting la.

Oh ya i nearly forgot to tell the worst thing that happened to me that day. After the movie i was walking down the stairs and my sandals got ruined. The front part came out and i cant walk. Oh God it was my worst day. So i planned to juz buy a slippers. But the shoe price there was so expensive that i cant afford to buy them. Haiyo me juz a student la how can i afford to buy a normal slippers for RM39.90. So i planned to go back to my college with that ruined sandals. Somehow i manage to go back with the sandals. Hehehehe save my money. When i went back my mum bought a new sandal for me ady. Hehehe.

So now i will review the members i met....Hehehe

Deva- Well he is the bully king in the forum. He did bully me in the gathering but most of the time it wasnt like in the forum. Probally he was scared of me after seeing me. Hahahaha.

Prakash Bro- Well he was like how he looked in his picture and how he was in the forum. My fren Michelle said he was good looking.

Jessy Anni- She was really very pretty and damn friendly.

Shobby Sis- She looked very very thin. Must ask her to eat more. Hehehe. She was as usual my sweet sis.

Shaliney- A very frenly sis who calls me akka (unlike my own sis).

Shalini- A big vayadhi. Non stop talking. Very fun having her around.

Durga- Very quiet girl.

Mr.K- Well he was funny and he even won a race n brought back a prize. Now i know where he disappeared.

Karthik Bro- He and Shobby sis something something. I also dunno wat it is until now. Need to do some investigation.

Raaja- Well i dunno much bout him. He went back after lunch.

Murali- Die hard fan of Kamal.

Rulez Bro- He tipu me n Shobby sis saying he will help us bully Deva.

So these are my reviews bout the members. Anyhow i really had a wonderful time with all of them. I really cant wait for the next gathering. It was nice knowing all these people. We r all like a huge family. Happy that i m part of it. And i also hope those members who miss the 1st gathering can join in the next gathering.

Exam Exam Exam

The one thing i hate the most in my life is none other that EXAM!!!!! Haiz....wondering y suddenly i m writting bout exam all of sudden. Well its exam week for me thats y. Hehehe. That is also y i didnt blog for sometime. 8 subjects all together and each subject got 2 papers except Maths and Stats paper. So it all sums up to 15 papers. Feel like dying here. Well at least i m glad now that 5 subjects already finish and left with 3 more subjects. Before exam i was really worried that i wont be able to answer my papers properly. I still do worry now but i know i did better than i thought i will for the previous 5 subjects. Opps sorry 4 subjects excluding Maths and Stats.

Let me review my papers so far......Hehehe

Cytology 1- Well i was really worried for this subject especially the practical paper. Thank God it wasnt as tough as i thought. Somehow i manage to do it well.

Histopathology 1- This paper is my favourite becoz i really study for it and so far it was the easiest paper for this sem.

Medical Microbiology 1- This is so far the killer paper.At least the theory paper was okay but the practical.....oh dear the worst paper. Always the killer paper will be the practical paper of this subject. Dunno how i will score. I have done my best, the rest depends on the lecturer.

Medical Parasitilogy 1- Well this is another easy paper. Reason; all questions were repeat from mid-term and quiz and for the practical paper most of the quiestions were from the mock exam. So i think i did well for this subject.

Mathematic and Statistics- Well during classes this is my fav subject but after exam i m hating this subject. The objective question were really difficult and the were 3 questions on log which carries 15 marks on the subjective part. And guess what all the 15 marks gone becoz i hate n dont know ho to do log. I can just pray for the best for this paper.

So that makes up my 5 subjects. Now let me review papers that i havent sat....i will say how i think the paper is gonna be....

Chemical Pathology 1- My worst worst paper. I hate this subject a lot. I dunno how i m gonna do my theory part, but the practical part really helps. I will try my best to revise as much as i can and the rest depends on my luck.

Haematology 1- Well this paper is quite easy but the way my lecturer marks the paper make it difficult for me to score. Well he will expect us to write extra answers which is not in his notes. So that means i have to do my own extra reading. Whicj is impossible for me. Well but this sem i did do some extra reading so i hope the paper will be tolerable. Hehehe

Immuno- Haematology 1- This is my last paper. I dunno how the lecturer gonna set the paper becoz she is a new lecturer. What i m gonna do is juz memorize all her notes n spit it out in the answer sheet. Hehehehe.

Well so thats all i guess. Enough of reviewing....maybe i should go and study now. Hehehehe.
