Water Marble Nail Art

I was just watching some videos in Youtube about nail art and I came across a video on how to do water marble nail art. It seemed quite easy for me. Nothing very expert, Just nice for beginners like me.

So I tried doing it with my nails. Just some trial and error method. And yeah it turned out AWESOME.

This was the end result. Too bad I just cut my nail few days ago. If you have long nails, it will look real awesome!!!

So now I am going to show you how to do it. Well if you really want a clear tutorial, you should go Youtube and watch the videos there. I am just showing my way of doing it. Hehehehehe

First, what you need:

Basically, whatever items you can see in the photo above, are the items you going to need.

  1. The nail color you want to use. Here I used Elianto's colors, they are; Lawn Green, Dodger Blue and Indian Red.
  2. Tissue and pencil.
  3. Cello-tape and scissors.
  4. Cotton, cotton buds and nail polish remover.
  5. A cup of clean water.
So these are the items you need to do water marble nail art.

Now the steps:

Apply one layer of base coat on your nail and let it to dry. I used Lawn Green for my nail.

Then cover the skin around you nail with cello-tape.

Take a cup of clean water.

Add a drop of each of the nail color you have chosen, like shown in the above photos.

Then use the pencil to draw some lines across the spread out nail colors.

Then dip the finger that you painted the base coat into the water.

After dipping your finger into the water, use the pencil to remove the access nail colors before removing your finger from the water.

Then remove your finger from the water and let the nail color to dry. After drying, remove the cello-tape and clean the nail colors that stick to the skin surrounding the nail with the remover.

And ta-da, This is the end result.

Well, I know it isnt a good tutorial. But I am just sharing my new-found skill. Hahahaha.... =D
Oh and please make sure your fan is switched off, this is to avoid drying up the nail color. ;)

P/S: I tried this method on my friend, Bhaeravii's nails.

This is the end result. Totally love it!!! <3

If life had a rewind button…

If life had a rewind button,
I would have restrained myself from falling for u
I would have stopped myself from spending time with u
I would not have confided my feelings towards u
I would not have initiated conversation with u
I would not have been a stupid girl!!!

Maybe life not having a rewind button is for good too. I don’t know…

Sometimes it feels like I am over it but other times the memories are still fresh and it disturbs me.

People say time heals, time has gone but the healing is not complete…

Raya Break

My Raya break can be summarized in two words; Shopping Week!

Yeah, shopping is what I basically did this whole week. So my Deepavali shopping has officially ended today, no more purchases for me! Hahahahahaha….

Actually in the whole week there were other significant events which I will list down now:

Thursday: Arrived home, had home cooked meal and then it was time to rest.

Friday: Temple day. Went to Kaliamman Temple to see my Amman, then evening went to Sivan Temple for Prodosham.

Saturday: Again temple time. Went to Arakasama Temple near Padang Brown to do prayers for Datuk. Then went to Market Street to buy some prayer things and bought a Punjabi suit for myself. Hehehehe

Sunday: Temple day again. No no no I am not really a pious devotee, just following my mum. Hehehehe….This time it was Ayya Temple in Air Putih, Balik Pulau and Bagan Ajam. Yeah two temples in a day. It was an hectic day.

Monday: This was the day I was awaiting. Yes my shopping day. My mum and I did a massive shopping; by the way it was not only for me but also for others in my family.

Tuesday: Raya house! Went to Siti Akka’s house for Raya celebration. They served awesome food. Hehehehehe…. Then it was Global Indian Fair in Times Square. I bought some bangles and 2 leggings. That’s all.

Wednesday: A day at home, yet there was so many things to do because my nieces and some relatives came. So I helped my mum to cook. The menu was; white rice, mutton curry, mix vegetables and fried chicken. For evening we prepared, fried bee hoon, sardine and potato curry puff and jelly.

Thursday: Vinayagar Sathurthi. Helped mum to prepare mothegam, sundal, vadai and kolkathe.

Friday: Last day of my Raya break at home. Went out with mum to Market Street. Had vegetarian lunch in Vegetarian Anandha Bhawan Restaurant. Then we went to the Global Indian Fair again to buy bangles. Hehehehehe…. This year I am a bit, take note *a bit* obsessed with bangles. Hehehehe…

Saturday: 9.45am bus to Shah Alam. L

So Raya week ends here. It was an awesome week. I can say it was an educating week for me. I realized how important some people in my life are and how useless some people are in my life.

Overall it was a week I enjoyed myself a lot with my parents and my pet, Vishal.

Bottomless Chili's

Actually this event I am going to blog about happened ten days ago. I know its late but what can u expect from a busy person like me. Heheheheheheheheh…….

Basically this outing was planned for Nandni’s surprise birthday celebration. We decided to go to Chili’s in Empire Gallery. We took cab there.

The best part was, Nandni didn’t have any clue that it was for her, even when they brought the cake out by singing Happy Birthday song. She was a blur case. Hahahahaha….

See we are expert in planning surprise. Anyway we found out an awesome thing in Chili’s. Bottomless!!!

Bottomless? Actually it means we can get unlimited refills. So the next time we go there, we planned to order Bottomless Nachos and four Bottomless Drinks and spend one whole day there. Hahahahaha… Yeah I know; we are economic girls! ;)

We had Bottomless Nachos as our appetizers. Then we ordered two main dishes and shared them. It’s been ten days so I can’t really remember the dish names. Then we bought two drinks and shared them. After eating session, it was surprise time. Nandni was super blur when the waiters there sang Happy Birthday song.

Anyways I really hope Nandni enjoyed herself. I really had a good time. Hehehehe….

Photos: I took some but my handphone battery went empty so I didn’t get to snap lots of photos like I normally do. But Jessica and Shirley took some with their phones.

Here are some of the photos:
