Nail Colour

I have obtained a new hobby recently, actually to be exact few hours ago.

I have sudden urge to have my own collection of various nail colours. I just started today, got 5 new colours. And I definitely have to thank the panni kutty Jessica for purchasing them with her discount.

The five new colours I bought today... =)

I am going to save some money and follow her to Elianto to get more colours next month. So now you can see me with different nail arts every week. Hahahahaha…..

Just now I did some so call nail art on my nails. I need to have my friends rate it tomorrow. Hahahahaha…yeah la I am still a beginner at this. Need some expert’s guidance.

Did this first... Nice right? Hehehe....

Then I tried the French Nail Art... The colour combo is nice for me...Lets see what my friends have got to say tomorrow. Hahahaha.....

Reminiscing My Graduation Day (2010)

Last week Saturday, my best friend Bhaeravii graduated. I take this opportunity to wish her Congratulations on her achievement. Seeing her graduation photos and listening to her graduation experience reminded me of my graduation ceremony a year ago.

Bhaeravii and Shangari. Congrats buddies =D

~Reminiscing mode~

I guess my graduation ceremony was the only occasion in 2010 that gave me joy.

Having my 2 and half years effort being paid off was an awesome feeling. To be in the hall for the ceremony, the feeling was not one to be described with words but to be felt individually.

Bouquet was from mum and dad

I insisted that we take a family photograph =D

I can’t wait for my degree graduation. I think I will enjoy this ceremony better compared to my diploma graduation, but no matter what my diploma graduation has a special place in my heart. It was a ceremony to mark my first achievement in my life.

So attending a graduation especially with a mortarboard is the only motivation encouraging me to face the challenges in the coming 3 years. Hehehehehe….of course I am exaggerating. That is not the only reason but having wonderful people around me always is also one of the reasons. Thanks dear friends for being with me (I hope you know who you are).

P/S: More photos can be viewed in my FB profile =)

And I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended the ceremony and made my day. And also to all who were directly and indirectly involved in making my big day a success. <3 <3 <3

Shopping Addict

Coming to Shah Alam has relished my shopping spirit. In just one week I have bought 5 new tops. I know it’s not a lot but considering myself, it is a lot.

My mum doesn’t know about this. I am not sure how I am going to tell her this. Hehehehehehehe….

Anyhow I think my mum won’t scold me, instead she will be happy that I am falling into her footstep comfortably. Hahahahahaha……

Bought this 3 tops in Giant...

Budget shopping, 3 tops for RM45... Hehehe...

If GOD Grant Me A Wish...

If God grant me a wish today, the only thing I will wish for is to give me an opportunity to dedicate myself to my parents.

I want my parents to be proud of having me as their daughter. I promise I will never leave my parents alone no matter what.

Being apart from them now has taught me to appreciate them better.

I may have not been an ideal daughter for them, but they are the best for me. There have been times I did not listen to their advice, but today where I stand now, I realize whatever they taught me and advised me was for my own betterment.

They are the best gift God has bestowed on me and I promise I will take care of them throughout my life.

They were the only one who stood beside me during my downfall and gave me the courage and moral support I needed. I will always be with them when they need me.

Amma and Appa, I will always love you. Thanks for everything. And sorry for not being the best for you.

Midvalley Again

Well yeah as the title says, I went to Midvalley again, but this time for a different reason of course. Hehehehehe…..

It was to celebrate Mohana @ Momo’s birthday and farewell.

Momo, the QUEEN of the day =)

We bought the tickets for Winter’s Bone movie before heading off to TGIF’s.

So we all gathered in TGIF’s for lunch cum the celebration. Lunch was really very fulfilling. It was my first time eating there, so I didn’t really know they serve a very BIG portion of food (though my friend warned me). I ordered Blackened Chicken Alfredo and Hot Coffee. The food was tasty but the portion was too big I couldn’t finish it even after sharing a bit with my friends.

Middle: Blackened Chicken Alfredo
Bottom: Hot Coffee

Then after lunch we celebrate Momo’s birthday. It was totally a fun celebration. We enjoyed so much till we forgot about the time, and ended up going for the movie late.

Momo cutting cake

Anyway that was the worst movie I have ever watched before in a cinema. I suggest you people not to even watch it for free. Its that bad! I slept off for half of the movie. *Sigh*

After the ‘wonderful’ movie, we split up into 2 groups. Jessica, her friend, Pei Chin and me went for shopping while the others went to play pool and bowling.

Actually I thought of buying a shoe but I didn’t buy because I feel very sad to spend my money. Hehehehehehe....

So we just shopped around for like 2 hours. It was a nice experience for me. I realize I LOVE shopping. Hahahahahahaha…..

So now I am planning to save money and spend it on shopping. Hehehehehehehe….

Shopping done, it was tea time or coffee time. So we stopped by MCD and rested for some time. Then we met up with the others. We left Midvalley around 6.45pm, I reached home 7.45pm, it was raining heavily and the traffic jam was….no words to describe.

Overall the outing was something to be remembered. I will definitely treasure this moments forever in my heart and mind.

*P/S: We took tones of photos, which can be viewed in FB profile =)

Its All About The Party

Actually last week we planned to have a surprise birthday cum farewell party for Shirley’s boyfriend Sendrew. So this post is all about the party we organized.

Planning for a Party

It was not really a well-planned party, we were kind of rushing. We planned a 3 course meal – appetizer, main dish and dessert.

The appetizer was rolled up carrot and cucumber in ham. Main dish was really a tough one to decide, we were changing so many times but in the end we stick to pasta with grilled vegetables, fried chicken and mashed potato. The dessert was chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream and chocolate syrup.

All menus decided, we had some price surveying to do. So on Tuesday after class we went to Tesco to do our price surveying. It took us quite some time, but it all turned out well.

Oh forgot, Jessica and myself planned something else without Shirley’s knowledge for her and Sendrew, so we also prepared for that surprise.

On Thursday we begged our lecturer not to have class on Friday, it was only her class so what was the point of going MSU just for one class. So after that we went to Tesco to do our shopping. We finished it fast, unbelievable right? Shows how efficient housewives we are going to be. Hahahahahahahaha

After our shopping, we were damn hungry, so we went hunting for restaurant. Since I requested we go Chinese restaurant, we rounded the same place like three times before finding a restaurant to our liking. Then I ordered Hokkien Mee expecting I will get what I usually get in Penang, but Hokkien Mee KL turned out to be Hokkien Char in Penang. Hahahahaha…However it was tasty and different but the portion was too big, I couldn't finish it.

All done, we went back to Shirley’s house; we cleaned the house and started decorating the house with balloons. Then Jessica did nail art for me. First time doing French Nails. Thanks Jess!!!

Then it was bedtime!!! Hahahahaha... =)

Before Party

This is about what we did on Friday….

So early morning, well not so early, I woke up around 9am something (btw Jess and me stayed over in Shirley’s place), then got ready to go MCD for breakfast. While having breakfast we also collected fork and knife for the party. Hahahaha see how economist we are!!!

Then Jess and me left Shirley in Giant and went to Tesco to get the stuff we planned for her n Sendrew. After that we went back to Giant and did our shopping. We also went to King’s and bought a cake before we head back home.

At home we finalized the decoration, then arranged the tables and cleaned the house. It was cooking time then!!!

So we started by doing the appetizers first, it turned out to be tasty. Then we prepared for the pasta and mashed potato. It took us till 4.30pm to finish all the preparing.

We still had some things to do, for the idea we had for Shirley and Sendrew, so after Shirley went to meet Sendrew, Jess and me went to Tesco and bought the stuffs we need and we also went to KFC to get the fried chicken, and we got stuck in the jam…

We went back around 7pm, prepared for the surprise. Then we got ready and started to prepare the food for the party.

The SL’s Party

Party time!!!

The house was dark, we were all ready with the party poppers and all. The moment Sendrew walked into the door, we screamed SURPRISE!!! And the party poppers we popped. Hahahahaha

Then we served the food to all the guests, I think they enjoyed the food we cooked. WOW not bad, we are becoming excellent chefs!!! Hahahahahaha….

Then we gave 10 minutes private session for Shirley and Sendrew, so that we can prepare for the surprise we planned earlier. Hahahahaha… no please don’t ask me what happened those 10 minutes between them. Hahahahahahahahaha

Then when the 10 minutes were over, we asked both of them to dance and then we asked Sendrew to propose to Shirley with a bouquet of roses (this was our surprise, we bought the bouquet for both of them). The bouquet consists of white, pink and purple roses, which have its own meanings.

Jess and Shirley did a slide show for Sendrew, we watched that, and at the end of the show, we sang Happy Birthday song and Sendrew cut the cake (American Chocolate Cake). It was dessert time then. We served the cake with vanilla ice-cream and chocolate syrup.

Game time!!! As usual we played Truth or Dare. It was really funny. We had so many horny dares, ideas were courtesy of Jessica! Hahahahaha…and Jess actually danced Bubble Pop in front of all.

Last dance, we asked Sendrew to dance for Otha Sollala from Aadukalam. Hehehehehe… well he can really dance well. I will upload the video in Facebook soon, so you guys can watch it, hehehehehehehe

So that was the end of the party. Overall I would say it was a great success. Although we were rushing, I am glad it turned out super and I am extra super glad that the food turned out well too. Now we know how to properly plan for a party. Hehehehehe….And of course it is all about teamwork! And I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the party! Thanks for making it a success…. =)

After Party

The house was in a total mess!!!

Instead of giving horny dares, we should have given them dares like ‘clean the kitchen’, ‘wash the dishes’ or ‘sweep the house’. Hahahahahahaha

Never mind now I know how to manage the cleaning up when we organize a party next time.

So this is where teamwork comes in again. I popped all the balloons with a toothpick. Jess, Mohana (Shirley’s friend) and I cleaned the living room. Shirley cleared the dishes with Sendrew’s help.

Next time, we are not buying party poppers again!!! We finished the cleaning after 45 minutes.

Then it was time for Sendrew to leave, Shirley sent him off. We all prepared to sleep, chat a bit and then slept…

It was one awesome weekend that’s going to stay in my mind and heart forever. The first party we organized together, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. <3 <3 <3

Buka Puasa with Mentor & Friends

I had buka puasa session just now with my mentor and my friends. It was my first time joining a buka puasa session. We went to SACC Mall and had our dinner in Noodle Station.

It was fun, as expected we crapped a lot. My so wonderful friends practically embarrassed me in front of my mentor. I hope whatever we talked, no no crapped, does not leak. Hahahahahahahaha……

I had Springy Noodles with BBQ Chicken and Iced Honey Lemon Tea. The drink was nice, the noodles was just like Wantan Mee. Anyhow I enjoyed my dinner.

Midvalley after Midsem

Alright, now that I am well rested, I guess its high time I post about my Midvalley expedition. What else to call it if not expedition, for its sole purpose was to make us feel like human beings again after being zombie-like for the past week. Hahahahahahaha……

Well we went there right after the exam, cause time is like gold and we didn’t want to waste it. So we took tickets for the movie, Rise of the Planet of Apes. Trust me, it was an awesome movie worth watching in cinema. The ape Ceaser, reminded me of Vishal (my puppy) when he was young.

So before the movie, we took our lunch in Delicious. Lunch was delicious indeed with a DELICIOUS bill too. Hahahahahaha if you know what I mean……

Then we headed for the movie. After movie, its was bubble tea and window shopping time! Yeah! I guess I have never walked a mall like this before. It was fun though. Then window shopping done, we wanted to head back to Shah Alam.

This is where the expedition had a twist! KTM broke down, well nothing new for us Malaysian. But at 7pm, in Midvalley, we were stranded. Lucky us, Shirley’s sister gave us a lift. So we reached Shah Alam safely, had dinner and when back home.

The moment my head hit the pillow, (oopss before my head hit the pillow, my fingers hit the laptop, to upload the photos in Facebook, hahahahahahaha) I was a dead body, woke up 2pm only the next day. Had to replace all my lost sleep from the week before. Hehehehehe…..

Overall, it was an outing to be remembered. I had a wonderful time after a tiring week. Thanx to my lovely friends for it!!!

P/S: Kindly visit my facebook profile for the photos. I am too lazy to upload it here again. =)
